Members of TVAA joined farmers from around the state at the La Canción de las Acequias, Acequia Day, held at the New Mexico State Capital on January 29, 2019. Attendees asked senators and representatives to back legislation that supports the acequias. The event received coverage from the Rio Grande Sun as well as from other news outlets.
